Cooking without Fire Sandwich Recipes

When we think about cooking without fire recipes, Sandwich is the first thing that comes to our mind.

Sandwiches are also healthier snacks than deep fried snacks. You can enjoy them anytime without worrying about calories and other health issues.

Many Sandwich recipes can be made without any use of fire or flame. Yes, no fire at all, and they taste good too!

I love making such recipes in my kitchen, so I thought it’d be great to share them with you all.

So, here’s the list of sandwiches that can be made without fire –

Chutney Sandwich

This is one of the simplest fireless sandwiches in the world. All you need is a chutney and slices of bread. Yup, that’s about it!

Of course, if the electric power usage is not allowed during competitions, you can use dry coconut chutney or Kolhapuri Thecha as well.

Quick Recipe –

  1. Spread some chutney on top of the slices of bread.
  2. Cover it with other slice of bread.
  3. Serve immediately with tomato ketchup.

Butter Sandwich

Another basic fireless sandwich recipe!

If you don’t have much time to prepare grilled or toast sandwiches, this simple butter sandwich can definitely keep your tummy full for few hours.

Quick Recipe –

  1. Get a spoonful of butter and apply it on the bread slices.
  2. Cover it with other slice and cut into diagonal shape.

Cheese Sandwich

For those who don’t like Butter Sandwich, Cheese Sandwich can be a great alternative to it.

Quick Recipe –

  1. Grate some cheese and keep it aside.
  2. Get a slice of bread and add the grated cheese on top of it.
  3. (Optional Step) Sprinkle some chaat masala, black pepper powder, and chilli flakes.
  4. Cover it with other slice of bread.

Note – You can use any type of cheese to make this fireless sandwich.

Cucumber Sandwich

During the summer season, cucumbers can really help in retaining water content in your body. And there is no better way to beat the heat than enjoying a couple of cucumber sandwiches for breakfast.

You may even pack these light and healthy sandwiches for your kids’ lunchbox.

Quick Recipe –

  1. Cut cucumber in small slices.
  2. Spread butter and green chutney on top of the slices of bread.
  3. Place the cucumber slices on one bread slice and sprinkle some chaat masala and black pepper powder.
  4. Cover it with other slice and cut the sandwich into desired pieces.

You can serve this sandwich with tomato ketchup or dry chilli-garlic chutney.

Veg. Cheese Sandwich

Veg. Cheese Sandwich is one of the hot-selling sandwiches in India, and it’d be difficult to find a Sandwich seller who doesn’t offer this type of Sandwich on his store.

But hey, you can easily make this delicious sandwich without fire and funky equipment at home.  Just get some veggies, cheese, and slices of bread, and you’re good to go!

Quick Recipe –

  1. Get some butter and green chutney, and apply it on the bread slices.
  2. Place your favorite veggies on one slice.
  3. Grate cheese on top of them.
  4. Sprinkle some chaat masala and cover it with other slice of bread.
  5. Cut the sandwich as per your style and serve with tomato ketchup.

Coleslaw Sandwich

Wanna try something different?

Coleslaw Sandwich can be a great alternative to aforementioned fireless sandwich recipes.

Quick Recipe –

  1. Prepare Coleslaw in a bowl using Cabbage-Carrots Juliennes, Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Vinegar, Pepper Powder, Sugar, and Salt.
  2. Get a bread slice and put this Coleslaw mixture on top of it.
  3. Cover it with other bread slice.
  4. Cut into diagonal shape and serve immediately.

Tip – You can also include some other vegetables like Onion, Capsicum & Beetroot.

Recommended Variation:

Now, if you don’t like Coleslaw, you can simply replace it with Indian vegetable raita.

Honey Sandwich

No chopping or grating!

Just spread a couple of spoons of natural honey on the bread slices and your honey sandwich is ready for the breakfast.

To be honest, there is nothing more to it. Whenever I feel hungry, I do make this sandwich for a quick snack. It tastes good and requires very less amount of time for the preparation.

Fruit Sandwich

If you’re bored with typical vegetable sandwiches, you can try your hands at different types of fruit sandwiches.

This type of sandwiches will help you fulfill the daily intake of fresh fruits, which is very much essential for good health.

Quick Recipe –

  1. Get a slice of bread and add sliced fruit pieces on top of it.
  2. Sprinkle some sugar, salt and pepper powder.
  3. Cover it with another slice.
  4. Cut the Sandwich into diagonal shape and serve as it is.

Tip – You can apply the sweet cream on the bread slices to make it even richer in taste.
